Gallery Wall
So worth it! I love a good gallery wall and this one is my favorite one of all because these are pictures of my wonderful family. There were two challenging parts to this project: 1) lining up the frames perfectly (which now seems easy compared to the latter), and 2) coordinating everyone’s outfits for the family photoshoot. I swear I thought “neutral colors - like gray, green, white, beige, even denim or light blue” was enough information to get 13 people in coordinating attire, but boy oh boy there were a lot of questions, LOL. My mom asked if my dad could wear and I quote “his snake-skin-printed pickleball shorts”…. absolutely not but thank you for asking (face palm). The photoshoot day was so great though! I absolutely LOVED our photographer and she got the photos back to us very quickly. 10/10 recommend doing a family photoshoot if you haven’t done one recently. Such wonderful memories with the people I love the most!
I got all of our photos printed at Walgreens. I went online, uploaded, and cropped the photos and got them all shipped to me within a few days. I chose to do a matte finish on my photos, which I think gives off less glare in our bright living room. I think if you do regular glossy photos you can pick them up at your local Walgreens on the same day, but matte is just my preference and, in my opinion, worth the wait.
